Instructions for adding or changing information

  1. If you are a committee or task force chair, you may add events to this calendar, or edit the calendar in case of last-minute changes. Get the password from Rachel Brekhus or from your committee chair.
  2. At the top of this page, click on Edit Page.
  3. You will be asked to log in. Use the password. Please also give your first name and email address when you log in so that other users can see who has made which changes to the page later.
  4. At the top of the page, click on Edit Page again.
  5. A big white box will appear, with the "boring" version (the code view) of the page printed in it. Scroll down until you get to the part where you want to insert or change something.
  6. Note that the vertical lines above (on either side of the date/time info) put the information in a box, and the two asterisks enclosing a group of words put that group of words in bold type.
  7. Learn how to use italics, tables, and more: The wiki style page

Why are there ads? Why is the background color for this page different?

In order to make it possible for more than one person to make updates to the calendar, Rachel has put this calendar onto a special online program called a "wiki." Wiki software normally costs money ($5 a month), but this wiki is free. In exchange for the free wiki, we tolerate ads and limited choices in colors, background, etc. If you have questions, contact Rachel Brekhus at brekhusr@gmail.com.
